Hello, we are Rekalibarcija - the first vegan fast food restaurant in Novi Sad, now in 2 locations:
- The first and well-known one is in Jevrejska Street, part of the Futo market
- The second on Liman at 1300 Corporal
We're changing the way people experience fast food, providing an alternative that's good for your body and the planet.
Where do we come from, the Jakovljev family, which had nothing to do with catering, in this industry?
Struggling from before with our own health problems, mostly caused by excess weight, we discovered, through various educations and trying out different types of nutrition, the charms and benefits of plant-based nutrition and wellness in general.
We wanted to pass on that knowledge and experience to everyone who could benefit from it. We rented a small place in a good location, which was not working at that moment.
The idea was born to offer everyone who cares about their diet, the possibility to easily and quickly get a healthy and tasty meal.
The idea for the name Recalibration also came from the desire to help people do something good for themselves. Namely, the term itself is from physics, and it means the process of "calibrating" the measuring instrument, in order to give accurate results. In this case, that instrument is our body, which adjusts to work as it should, in the "mode" of health. And in the summer of 2016, the first vegan fast food restaurant was opened in Novi Sad.
